A father puts his son on the ledge, fifteen feet from he ground. Kid’s about six. The father asks the kid to jump. The kid shakes his head, afraid to make the move. The father tells him not to worry, Daddy’s here and Daddy will catch you. The kid swallows hard, clenches his hands and makes the jump. The father moves out of the way and lets the kid fall to the ground, cuts, bruises, scrapes, what have you. The father bends over and points a finger in the face of his crying boy. And tells him, ‘Remember one thing. In this life, never trust anyone.

Decided to stop going to esplanade for the time being. Guess its time to take a break from all the hoo-ha. So I didn’t go to esplanade on wed and Thursday. The pain from my hips is still excruciating. But Thursday I had fun alone the first time in many months. Woke up in the morning feeling so refreshed. Started playing need for speed. Finally passed the stage that I was stuck at, but stuck at another one again, lol. But getting closer to completing the game already. Left with 10 over races I think. Then ate lunch and decided to go cycling. Started drizzling at first, but I decided that nothing could dampen my spirits, so I reached ECP in no time and started a slow cycle to and fro before heading back home. Dropped by at the market near my grandma place for a while to get a packet of grass jelly drink. Super refreshing. But I had to push my bike inside the market because I forgot to bring my bike lock, but the uncle was nice enough to bring the packet of drink out for me, heh. The drink definitely pepped me up. Then when I was home, hit the gym straight away, nice session. Could feel the energy seeping away from me, along with the fats, heh. Then after the gym, headed straight for the pool, did 7 or 8 laps and slacked for a while and went home totally exhausted and refreshed, and it was already 5. Exercised for 6 hours in total, haha. To end the day, mum and dad brought us to a restaurant at changi there. Quite a nice ambience. Got three guys playing music, one holding a cello, one guitar and another drums. They were playing folk music and sounded quite soulful all in all. Then my brother said, bro the violin can be played like that ar. He was referring to plucking. So I said u try playing that ‘violin’ on your shoulder la. So he learnt that it’s actually a cello. The food was not bad either. Reached home, I conked out immediately till this morning, just wished that I didn’t have to go to work.

Think later will pay a visit to the tie-ta. Hope my neck and hips will get better though. 11 more days. Die la.
